Overtone Software adds Joshua Konkle as VP of Marketing and Communications

Bethesda, MD--- April 7, 2006 --- Overtone Software, a leading provider of archiving solutions for multiple platforms announced that Joshua Konkle was added to their management team as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. As Vice President, Joshua Konkle will drive Overtone Software’s market strategy, product and business messaging. In his current role, he interacts with customers to identify their business challenges and how to use software and IT services to address their issues.

Joshua was most recently Technical Director at KVS, Inc (acquired by VERITAS Software Corporation); later acquired by Symantec; where Joshua influenced the integration of KVS, Inc. Prior to this, Joshua held positions with Microsoft, Digital Knowledge and PPI, Inc. He served on the Board of Directors of the Data Management Forum and Chairman for the Compliance Advisory Group at Symantec Corporation (previously KVS, Inc).

As part of this announcement he was quoted as saying “This is an important era in information management; we must find information in the chasm of data. Further, our management team is strong, development is progressing and sales are up!”
