OVERTONE SOFTWARE ANNOUNCES DISCOVERY AND COMPLIANCE SOLUTION FOR ENTERPRISE MESSAGING ENVIRONMENTS

Extends low TCO architecture to backend compliance with open architecture, best-of-breed, enterprise-wide search and response, and total data ownership

By sending message data directly to content-assurance storage platforms such as EMC Centera and Network Appliance Snaplock, ManageAudit eliminates the security risk of the staging mailbox which must be safeguarded against unauthorized access to prevent tampering with original messages, and enforces admissibility of audit results as evidence in legal proceedings.
