OVERTONE SOFTWARE INTEGRATES WITH EMC CENTERA CONTENT ADDRESSED STORAGE

Adds CAS Support to Second Generation Information Lifecycle Management Solutions Offering

BETHESDA, Maryland--- September 1, 2005. Overtone Software today announced it has integrated ManageTone Lifecycle Suite with the EMC® Centera™ content addressed storage (CAS) solution. EMC Centera represents a software-driven storage architecture specifically designed to address the unique information storage requirements of fixed content such as e-mail and messaging applications, financial transactions, and medical data, and addressing regulatory requirements such as SEC 7a-4 and NASD 3010/3110, HIPAA, and Sarbanes-Oxley.

Overtone Software supports EMC Centera across its ManageTone product line, allowing enterprises to migrate their fixed content data directly to Centera, with the same high performance and ease of configuration that it provides for network and fibre-attached disk and tape platforms, but with the additional assurance of data integrity that EMC CAS provides.
